LAMB KEBABS
No better way to get into lamb than with this reliable kebab recipe.

Ingredients
1 | 1 KG - GROUND LAMB |
2 | 1 TBSP - GROUND CUMIN |
3 | 1/4 TSP - GROUND CINNAMON |
4 | 1/4 CUP - MINT (CHOPPED) |
5 | 1/4 CUP - PARSLEY (CHOPPED) |
6 | 1/2 CUP - YOGURT |
7 | JUICE AND ZEST OF 1 LEMON |
8 | 1 MEDIUM - ONION (CHOPPED) |
9 | 4 SMALL - LOCAL TOMATOES (QUARTERED) |
10 | 10 PCS - BARBECUE STICKS (SUBMERGED IN WATER) |
11 | TO TASTE - SALT & PEPPER |
Steps
1 | Preheat your grill to about 350°F. |
2 | In a bowl, combine your ground lamb, spices, herbs, lemon zest and salt and pepper. Combine well with your hands. |
3 | Evenly portion out the ground lamb mixture on each of the barbecue sticks. |
4 | Grill the lamb skewers about 4 minutes on each side, you may also grill the tomatoes and onions simultaneously. |
5 | In a small mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. |
6 | Serve lamb kebabs and grilled vegetables on a dish with the yogurt dipping sauce on the side. |
Tips
1 | Can be served with your choice of Basmati rice or pita bread. |
