Prep Time | 30 MINUTES |
Difficulty | BEGINNER |
Good For | 6 PEOPLE |
Ingredients
1 | 4 PATTIES - OLD FASHIONED ANGUS BURGERS |
2 | 2 MEDIUM - ONION RINGS |
3 | MASHED POTATOES |
4 | 1 BOTTLE (250ML) - PRIMEBEEF COMPANY SPECIAL MUSHROOM GRAVY. |
5 | TO TASTE - SALT AND PEPPER |
Steps
1 | Preheat the pan at medium heat for about 5 minutes. Season the patties with salt and pepper to taste. |
2 | Once the pan is hot enough, throw in the frozen beef burgers. |
3 | Cook each side for about 7 minutes and remove the beef burgers from the pan. |
4 | While the pan is still hot, fry the sliced onions in the oil left over from the beef burgers until the onions are translucent in color. The savouriness of the dish will come from those beef and onion flavors mingling! |
5 | Arrange the beef burgers on a platter and top with the fried onions. Serve mashed potatoes and Primebeef Company's mushroom gravy on the side. |
Tips
1 | For an alternative method of cooking, just let the patty get a crusty outside then finish it off in a hot serving of mushroom gravy. Allow the gravy to continue cooking the burger for a richer flavor. |
