SEARED STRIPLOIN STEAK

A convenient reason for making brussel sprout sides.

Ingredients
1 500 G - AGED ANGUS STRIPLOIN STEAK, CHOICE GRADE
2 OR DRY AGED ANGUS STRIPLOIN CHOICE STEAK
3 7 PIECES - BRUSSEL SPROUTS
4 12 PIECES - MARBLE POTATOES, CLEANED
5 1 TBSP - BUTTER
6 2 PIECES - GARLIC CLOVES
7 TO TASTE - SALT & PEPPER
Steps
1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
2 On a roasting tray, spread out potatoes and brussel sprouts and coat with oil then season with salt and pepper.
3 Roast in the oven for 45 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender.
4 Once roasted, remove from the oven and set aside.
5 On a high heated skillet, drizzle some oil and sear the first side of the Striploin. About 2 minutes.
6 Flip and sear the other side for another 2 minutes.
7 After you've flipped the second side, place your butter and garlic and let it melt. Baste the steak for about 2 minutes with the garlic butter.
8 Remove from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
